May 25, 4:38:32 pm - Phoenix landing: Once again, it's time for another Mars landing This time the Phoenix lander is scheduled to make a soft (fingers crossed) landing on Mars at 4:38:32 pm - just imagine if the airlines could schedule a landing down to the second! If all goes well, this will be the 3rd active spacecraft on the surface along with the two rovers that refuse to give up. There are also 3 spacecraft in orbit over Mars which are moving into position like paparazzi to cover the landing.
The Museum of Flight is having a Mars landing party, with live coverage in the theater. The event is from 3 to 7pm.
